Rice water is an effective DIY protein treatment thanks to amino acids – the building blocks of protein. It strengthens hair, adds shine and smoothen the cuticle! 🌾
The key is to just not overdo it. Most of the time I see people recommending it to do daily before shampoo, but that might lead to protein overload hence stiffed hair. Everything in excess is bad for health be it water or mask. Twice or thrice a month is enough for any home made rice mask.
